Browsing without an account
You can use the whole site without giving us anything. We do not ask for an account to search, and we do not run advertising trackers that follow you to other sites.
What we record when you browse
We count page views, searches, listing views and reveals so we can tell which parts of the site work. Each record carries a visitor identifier that is a one-way hash of your IP address and browser, rotated every day. We do not store your IP address itself, and yesterday’s identifiers cannot be recalculated, so the history cannot be reassembled into a person.
Cookies
Two, both strictly necessary and both signed so they cannot be edited. One remembers which listing you spent your free reveal on. The other holds a random token that identifies your pass; it contains no personal information and no payment details.
If you buy a pass
Stripe takes the payment and holds your card details; we never receive them. We store your email address, your plan, whether the subscription is active, when the period ends, and the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. We also store which listings you have revealed, because that is how the weekly allowance is counted and how a listing you revealed stays open.
Who else sees it
Stripe, for payments. Our hosting and database providers, which hold the data on our behalf. Analytics we run ourselves, plus PostHog. If you arrived from an advertisement, we may tell the advertising platform that a purchase happened, without telling it what you looked at.
Listing and agent information
Listings, including agency names published on them, come from public advertisements on other portals. If you are an agent or seller and want a listing of yours removed from Evryroom, email us and we will remove it.
Your rights
Email hello@evryroom.com to get a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. If you have bought a pass, deletion ends the subscription. Analytics records cannot be traced back to you, so they cannot be retrieved or deleted individually.
